International Sales Director

About You & Your Position
Arbuckle Media is seeking to recruit a partner, who will operate as an International Sales Director knows how to create opportunities in new and emerging markets, even with little-to-no books of business in the region.
This role will be responsible for driving sales through identifying and following up on qualified leads. This includes responding to inquiries and needs with appropriate attitude and knowledge; developing relationships with partners to support revenue growth; liaising with accounting and operations to constantly improve processes. The ideal candidate for this role is a hunter, has an unwavering perseverance and wants to win. This role will report directly to the President.
This role will be ideal for an individual who is proactive, self-motivated and enjoys developing relationships.
Grow revenue through identifying and qualifying appropriate leads with a focus on International clients;
Drive sales through customer care and product knowledge;
Identify ways to personalize the experience for every customer wherever possible;
Ensure our wholesale partners achieve excellent sell through by ensuring all needs are met and product knowledge is delivered;
Ensure all in-house procedures and processes are followed;
Work closely with other members of the team to ensure issues affecting customer orders are remedied smoothly, quickly, & efficiently;
Establishing productive, professional relationships with wholesale partners;
Assisting with the entering of orders, payments and exchanges;
Ensuring the timely allocation and release of orders to the warehouse with clear instructions where relevant;
Providing prompt responses to telephone calls and emails;
Coordinating with the warehouse to resolve delivery exceptions and payment queries;
Achieving established targets as defined by the Sales Director;
Assisting Accounts Receivable with all relevant return (RA) audits upon request;
Proactively assessing, clarifying and validating that customer needs are being met on an ongoing basis;
Maintaining records on the number of customer queries received and the nature of the query
Strong sales skills and a proven sales background in business development;
Self-driven and able to work remotely;
Excellent time management;
Ability to take constructive feedback, and provide constructive feedback to others, both internally and externally, where required;
Experience in foreign markets, such as the United States of America is a strong asset;
Relevant post-secondary education is an asset;
Relevant professional development is an asset;
Excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal
